Jane or Alec?

ok, so I have a very strong opinion of this topic, but my friends both agree and disagree with me pretty much equally. My question is, if you had to go up against either Jane or Alec, and didn't have any special powers to block either of their powers, who would you go up against?

In order to not influence your opinions right away, I'll post my views later. Not that it really makes a difference.

Definitely Alec. I can't fend off either of them anyhow, may as well just take the total lack of senses... like a lot of morphine and lidocaine straight into the system.... No pain at all, only mental stuff. But with Jane, its severe physical pain plus all the mental stuff that goes with it. So... yep, Alec

I know I must sound like a masochist, but to me, if I were going to die anyhow, I'd like to die fighting something. I can't really effing see where I'm going or anything if I'm against Alec, and more or less I'd feel like a blumbering idiot. Against Jane, I'd push myself to fight the pain, whether I could or not, and I'd try and try to win anyway (though it would still be pointless).

i have to agree with you bella. jane is defitnaly worth fighting agaisnt without powers. she can crush you just by staring at you, and if ur strong enogh to fight her then you can

Definitely good points.... but my thing is that even Edward wasn't strong enough to do anything more than writhe on the ground in pain, though he did keep silent. Still, he couldn't get up and fight it back, and that was with Bella present. He has incredibly ability when it comes to protecting her (your typical mama lion type thing) but she still overpowered him without issue. Thus, I would have to say that no matter what feats you think you could accomplish and how powerful or strong you think you are... when it comes to Jane, you are screwed. With Alec, you might be a lost idiot ut at least you could remain somewhat blissful with the fact that you aren't suffering pain worse than the vampire transformation.

I would definately choose Jane because, I would be FREAKING out with Alec way more than I would be with Jane. With Jane, I would just be in physical pain, and total annoyance and hatred with her. With Alec, You can't do ANYTHING. I have my room arranged so that I can see every corner of my room in the night just by turning on a desk lamp on my nightstand (you know, the ones with the bendy necks) with a series of many mirrors. I also have the halways in my house set up with the same system, except set up so that I can see everything that goes on in the various halways in my house. From my bed I can see the front door, back door, kitchen, and other places in my house. Pretty much I like to ALWAYS know exactly what to expect and when I can expect it, I don't like to be taken off guard, and when I am(which is VERY rare) I like to have ways to get back on top of things quickly.
With Jane, you always know what she will do, with Alec, he could shut down all your senses, and let you freak out for seconds or hours or days or even weeks if he wanted to. I would never be able to handle that.
