House of Night Books? (Yes spoilers, duh)

So... I am just over halfway through the third House of Night book... and still can't entirely decide how I feel about them. It really just makes me laugh that Stevie Rae is a typical undead vampire type creature but that the authors designed this entire other world of vampyres to counter it. I think I am laughing at these books more than anything... And gotta say, the whole Nefereet is evil thing- way too obvious from the start. The moment Zoey had a feeling to hide stuff it was way too obvious. And it also kinda irks me that they have yet to give much info on how Stevie Rae got turned into what she is. It happened in book 2 and here I am half way through 3 and other than vague details of Nefereet figured out a way to bring her body back, nothing. Really rather obnoxious...

But it also makes me laugh that Zoey suddenly has 3 boyfriends. The whole Heath imprinting thing was hilarious... and the whole Loren thing is just downright wrong and I really wanna know what is going on in that boy's head... It is just plain weird if you ask me but Zoey's reactions to him crack me up. Still, I saw she gets over herself and cuts it off with Heath and Loren and goes back to Erik. He's dorky cute and sweet... Heath is just special and Loren clearly has boundary issues.

So yes... those are my thoughts on the books... Any comments?

Lol well, yes, he is so sweet and cute and all... but at least at this point in the books (and I am ignoring the part of my brain saying he isn't at all all he appears to be and prolly isn't really a good guy), I am all Loren. Sorry but that man is just hot. And the whole described as a warrior thing did me in. *sigh*

I have about 90 pages left in the third one. So, Loren is still hot and sexy and mysterious. Perhaps I should stop reading now.....
